He has 27 years experience in the central London real estate market and established Alternative Developments in 2009 with Andrew Dawson. From 1996 – 2009 he ran Lansdowne Stewart Real Estate Investment and Development, working with partners and clients to originate and develop schemes in the office, student housing and serviced office sectors.
He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor at Weatherall Green and Smith (now BNP Paribas) in 1991 and holds an honours Geography degree from University College London.
He has a proven expertise in the development process, covering site acquisition, securing planning permissions, development management, marketing and leasing.
He has 29 years experience across the UK and European real estate and corporate finance sectors. He established Alternative Developments in 2009 with James Stewart, Previously he was Head of Real Estate UK for Babcock Brown Investment Bank, where he lead the Bank’s real estate investment strategy and oversaw some £3 billion of property investments.
He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1988 at Richard Ellis (CBRE) and holds a Land Management Degree from University of West England.
He has expert knowledge in managing and operating investment funds, securing development financing, structuring joint venture partnership, operating asset backed companies and asset management reporting.
